I didn't see a single chair or stool. I'd hate to think I had to stand 8 hours in one spot installing various hardware.

A while back I worked at a plant (meat packing, very glamorous) and we had to stand on hard concrete 8+ hours a day. Most guys had chronic sore backs and lotsa folks had bad knees too. It was miserable and my legs are a lot worse for the wear after doing that.

Lotsa "big companies" dont want their emplyees sitting on the job, which is a shame, but I wouldnt be suprised if that was the case here!

BTW guys this factory is not in Tijuana, it's in Ensenada, a bit further down the coast and a slightly nicer area.

Very cool pictures. Looks like a well run, efficient, and clean operation.

Thanks for the pics George, hope all is well in Kramer land. Seeing those pics made me want to go get another Strat For a place with so much wood, there is precious little sawdust on the floor. That's a very neat operation.

When will we see MIM Jackson imports? Seems like a good idea. I could use a MIM Charvel/Jackson maple 22 or 24 fret neck.

Kind of ironic that in the final assembly pics (#8) the Mexican guy has an orange shirt that says "Gringo" on the back. Funny.
