  • who here digs the iceman shape?

I for one do love them:

-)my 1976 (approx, not serialized) pre-iceman Artist 2663 (will be restored to original config)

-)my 1992 PS1000 (celebrating Kiss's 1973-1993 20th anniversary and their reunion, Ibanez released the PS1000BK ("20th Anniversary" inlay in the 22nd fret and has "PS10 Limited Reissue" on truss rod cover). Estimated 511 were produced, of which 200 were sold in the US., not featured in any Ibanez catalog)

more to come.. if any has a cool iceman or artist 2663, shoot me a PM

i had an IC-500 that was really cool, but it wasn't all that great sounding, even after 3-4 pickup swaps. looked great, played very nicely, but just didn't sound as good as it should have.

I have always liked this shape since I first saw Paul Stanley back in the 70's. I assume the Iceman is similar except for the headstock.

I love them. I really want a 1983/84 set neck sunburst Iceman to match my Rocket Roll II and Destroyer.

you know if you told paul stanley he played an iceman he'd bite your head off - he's really funny about it apparently coz his model ' is similar only in shape' ....' i have no reason to champion it - its a budget line guitar' i read in one interview...

Hey hey. These are great guitars. I have a first year PS-10 from 1978. It sounds, looks and plays great. You really can tell they were made for a taller guy like paul though. It just seems a little long and not compact like other axes I have.
