. You really can tell they were made for a taller guy like paul though.

Paul Stanley is extemely short...maybe 5' 4" without those heels!

They are a bit "long-feeling", but that's what I've always liked about them.

Pebber, got your PMs...

Re: who here digs the iceman shape?

I have owned every model of Iceman except an original PS10. My main guitar was a PS10-2 for a long time. They are definately neck heavy. Here is the last one I owned. I did the mirror job, and traded it for a les paul:

A friend of mine has one, and it is a nice guitar, but I agree, it is too neck heavy for me. But they are definitely nice guitars.

Re: who here digs the iceman shape?

I've owned several:

Two 1978 IC300 Korinas (actually they are made of ash)
1994 IC500BK
1996 ICJ100WZ
1978 IC400
1996 PS10-2

I sold all of them except for the IC500BK, which is an awesome guitar. I went through a major Iceman phase there for awhile, but became interested in other guitars.

BTW, pebber, if you got the production numbers of the IC1000BK off of Mark Hartman's site.....I'm the "Chad" he mentions on his site that provided the info.

wow Chad.. nice to meet ya.. yes, I got it of that site, not much info on them floatin' around in cyberspace.. but since it appears you had some inside contact with Ibanez, do you have any other relevant info you want to share?

Mark's site is great.
My picture/band is on there under the Links section, because me and the bass player both use IC500s.
