  • Schecter guitars...waddaya think....

I need to know what you guys think about Schecter guitars. I'm really diggin' A7X right now and the guitars they play are really cool looking Schecter's. Lemme know what you think and if anyone has an A-1, let me know that also.
    Thanks.

Man...I remember when both guys in Avenged Sevenfold used to play Ibanez, then Carvin and Parker...they've come a long way.

The word schecter sounds and looks too much link sphincter.

They used Ibanez before their first album came out. Then Carvin for Zacky and Parker for Synyster.

At the risk of getting this thread back on topic...

Schecter guitars are a great value for the money. I am not particular to their five string basses, but their four string basses and their guitars are very nice.

yeah they are the best value in guitars under 600 bucks..
they have some really good options that are normaly not found on guitars in that price range, like real Duncans or active EMGs, tone pros bridges, or even a Original Floyd...
set necks and carved tops with nice maple tops...

Just the new one, I understand the older ones, the singer screamed too much.

tho0se guys look nothing like they sound, they sound to me like Helloween crossed with Killswitche Engage, all while the listener takes acid...

Guitars are great, but that singer sucks!! It sounds better than the newer stuff I have heard. Jack.

We opened for Prong on Saturday, and I hung out during their soundcheck. Tommy (Victor) was playing a Schecter, a Scorpion S-1 I believe. He was just running through the provided Marshall backline and sounded good.

I think I saw one of the God Forbid guys using a Schecter C-1 a few years back and it sounded godly. I just don't like TOM bridges or all the "bling" binding, so there's not much of interest to me.

Tommy sounds great through anything. He still uses Valvestates, I believe, and I remember reading an interview with him some years back and he just sticks with the stock humbuckers in any guitar he uses.
