Re: Just picked up a PRS - anyone else? PIC

The bridge is one of my favorite features about the guitar. You can't do extreme pull-ups or dives but the thing stays in tune unbelievably.

I like the tortise shell finish alot. I really like the natural body binding contrast with the top stain.

Nice guitars hammer.

but do they have rotary 5-way switches?
I liked Shawn's version better

persoanlly i like the simplicity of the wrapover bridge (very solid feeling and sounding) , i have one on my IRW McCarty and have never had a problem with the action or intonation on it?? besides if one wants a highly adjustable wrapover one. Tone Pro's sells a exact replacement with saddles..its an easy switch

I want to try one of the new all mahogany anniversary models. I bet they sound huge.

Shawn - nice Custom 22. Is that Whale Blue? I guess they don't do Royal Blue with the natural edge for some reason. That looks killer. I think they should offer a matching flame/quilt headstock veneer as an option...THAT would look awesome.

I have a CE24 that is great. PRS makes an outstanding guitar. Nice score!

true...I already have an RR1, a Les Paul Custom, a scalloped strat with dimarzios, and a Ovation Custom Legend 6759, not exactly cheap guitars, but I always thought PRS are a little overpriced...

How do most PRS owners feel about Hamer guitars? It seems that people like one or the other. Me, I'm a Hamer guy. Nothing against PRS, they just never did it for me. I'm curious to hear what PRS owners have to say about Hamer.
