I remember playing a few at Mars Music and they seemed pretty decent. Anybody own or play them?

Re: Whatever Happened to Brawley guitars?
Guitar Center has picked them up, at least around here. Our bassist bought a Brawley Artemis bass that is pretty nice, although he says it's a lot heavier than Spectors and LTDs that he owns. He used it at a gig last weekend, and it sounded good to me. Not sure about the guitars though - I hate the headstock design.

Re: Whatever Happened to Brawley guitars?
I thought Brawley was kaput. A store here carried them about a year ago. Around that time, I tried a few out. The store owner told me the brains behind Brawley left Fender and started his own company.
I played three different Brawleys. Two were jut okay, and one was really unbelievable. Possible had a better set-up job. I would've bought it if it had a doulbe-locking trem.
