Suhr does not use quilted maple necks anymore. They are not very reliable. Lee at GMW will tell you the same story.

I'd be very interested to hear your opinions about Suhr, in comparison to other high end guitars. I visited the Suhr site after I saw your pics. Are they all Feitenized and Plekked?

All are Feitenized and all NEW guitars are Plek'd. After getting my Suhr a year ago I have a very hard time liking any other guitars.

Suhr is coming out with a Pro Series that will have a standard feature set (no custom options) for a street price of about $1500. That's a great price for a new Suhr if you aren't super picky about options.

I now only own Suhr guitars. They are the best playing and sounding with the best quality in my opinion. Great service too!

I´ll definitely get me one of those cheaper Pro´s when they come out. I´ve tried a few Suhrs, and they´re simply amazing... but a little too pricey for me right now.
