I used to have an EVO Phantom (now EVO Noir) and it was really a nice guitar. Best stock pickups I've ever heard in an import. Sold it to pay for a Charvel bass, but no complaints about the Dean.

Two of mine. 2001 NAMM show Pinkburst V (one of a kind, and currently for sale) and a 1981 E'Lite.

The E'Lite is a gigantic hunk of mahogany -- a coffee table with Super Distortions in it. Sounds so damn mean it's scary.

they call it a soft v neck, but i would say that the v is pretty pronounced (either that or i have never played a hard v neck). that said, i think it plays wonderfully. although the v shape takes a moment to get used to, it provides a satisfying leverage point when you're bending. truth be told, i prolly don't have the shred abilities for the neck shape to be an important factor in my playing. if it's comfortable, it's comfortable, and that's what i like. i also like the fat jcf-01 neck as well. the only neck i dislike is the really fat LP neck which i actually have trouble playing on. what matters most to me is a flat (large radius) fretboard.

the fit and finish are unbelievable, although i do recall someone posting pics of their michael schenker v with some finish issues. i don't recall if that was a USA or a Limited Edition one.

Man I am glad I wasn't the only one to notice that! There is nothing more sweet in this world than an honest to goodness nipple sighting. Even a partial like this makes me smile. LOL
