yep. it was freaky and cool. kev's all line6'ed up, and i hear a lot of the things that he'll fart around with. i have to say that those things can do amazing stuff and i certainly wouldn't write it off as novelty.

That is just too cool Kevin! I didn't know that Warmoth offered Line 6 bodies! If I'm not happy with my 500, I'll do the same thing.

they offer a retro for the 300 now too...


Oh yeah Alt tunings ...

Drop it down an octave and running through the new tone port it's a decent alternative for doing quick tracks ..

Drop the switch to bass, set up a bass amp and do a quick recording ..then move everything over to a guitar setting and go ..no changing equipment over .. it's a nice way to get ideas down quickly

That's hilarious! If I get a Warmoth replacement body, I'm gonna get sonic blue. But, I doubt if I do it any time soon, if at all.
Do you like the headstocks on the 600's? Doesn't it remind you of the Harmony guitars that are in JC Penney's catalogs?

Kev what you did is killer! I never thought of just sticking the electronics into a nicer body and neck. very very cool looking guitar you ended up with, the best part is the lack of any visible pickups.

if a fellow was so inclined, he could stick a mag pup onto a Warmoth body, and have a VERY versatile guitar.

I sold mine before workbench came out, but id love to hear how the bass and alt tunings sound!

Was just over at Line6 looking at the Workbench.

Also looking at the different models on Ebay [img]/images/graemlins/eek.gif[/img]

Maybe I can get enough for my Dano 12-string to finance a Vari/moth [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
