what are some nice 24 fret guitars with thicknecks

Just kinda curious. Im weighing over some options for guitar buying. Im 70/30 in favor of a another wolfgang, but i wanna make sure i exhaust some other avenues befor i commit. Im sick of these thin neck guitars, they make my hands cramp. My current guitar an Ibanez RGT42 makes my hands cramp when playing bar chords and such. I need a thick beast!

IT's funny how my snakeskin soloist I sold recently had a much thinner neck then my older soloist in black that I had earlier. It had a great neck, quite a bit beefier then my newer SL2H. Same guitar, differnt years!

Anyhow, any recommends for some nice 24 fret guitars with nice thicker necks? My only peev with the wolfgangs are they are a 22 fret neck.

I vote for the PC1. Tone is killer with excellent playability and fantastic fretwork. Best guitar I have ever played.

I can't stand those thin necks either - I can't get anything to anchor my hands against for vibrato.

Actually, those shouldn't be too hard to find. You can find one with a really nice ebony fretboard and split diamond inlays as well. Look for "SG-X" I think. I think they stopped making those in 1992.

The thing that sucks is that I have NEVER seen a PC anywhere here in Canada. The only USA JAcksons I have seen are at a store in Calgary and there they are "please dont touch". I was forced to buy my USA guitars without even playing them first (no regrets though)

I will have to look into a PC though. That SG looks swett, although I assume it's a 24.75" scale?!?

The one pictured is an SG-X but the one with ebony board and split diamond inlays is the SG Supreme model.
