My new Dean Hardtail...I am blown away

Thanks so much to everybody that suggested Gold Hardware......This guitar is unreal, and the new classic neck with the slight V is very cool feeling too. Is it me, or is it easier to play with your thumb wrapped around on a V-neck?

Anyway, this wraps up a ridiculous week of guitar acquiring, I will be quiet now. As usual, flash photography kinda sucks, but will do better in daylight .


But seriously, check out this flame....I have a couple PRS that I really like, but I would trade them in a heartbeat for my Hardtails.

Oh my god, that top is amazing. Talk about a tight flame. And the gold hardware complements it perfectly. Glad I thought of it.

it's probably got a soft V like my Michael Schenker LE. It feels odd at first, but you get used to it quickly. wouldn't say it would be my first choice for a neck shape, but i definitely like it. oddly comforting to feel the v actually.

btw, killer guitar!!! trans black flame is one of my all time faves.

Try a Jazz'R - those have a V neck as well, and yes, they are incredibly easy and comfortable to wrap your thumb around.
