I'd be asking Lee to make me a new offset trussrod cover, but overall that is one sick guitar, I have always loved Schenker and his unique axes.

I ordered the Schenker V about 2 years ago; then gave up on it after a year and bought one of Lee's Empires that he had laying around.

2 weeks ago Lee sent me some pics and asked me if I still wanted one. Done deal.

I just got it tonight and the thing is light as a feather. I'll let it sit until tomorrow and then give a full report. But, initially, it appears that Lee has outdone himself again.

Gibson USA really screwed the pooch by not making a Michael Schenker Signature Flying V. I can't help but feel it would have out sold models like the Lenny Kravitz V, the Allen Collins Explorer, or the Dickie Betts LP. But like Imentioned in a previous thread, my source in the custom shop stated that Gibson just didn't want to be associated with a genuine nutcase.

Fritz, if you get tired of that puppy, I want first shot at it. Please!
