Nice, they thank the Kansas City cop who I had to twist his arm to get involved only after showing him the pics on CC's site. I also remembered the guitar from the GMP site.

That is so, so cool. I love this quote from CC:

Not at all, I'm sure GC had about a hundred calls by the time I got the Local GC guy to figure out where the guitars for sale actually were located. I can't believe how disorganized GC is.....

If I understand it correctly they already had the guy pegged and werewaiting for him to come back.

The really f**ked up thing is GC had a 30 day police hold policy on all trade in/ pawned guitars so they can run the serial number to see if they are stolen. No one at GC seemd to know this was CC's guitar until the calls starting comming in.
