Excellent news! I wonder if those two beat up Floyded GMP Vs that that San Jose Guitar Center had on the 'bay then quickly yanked were part of the lot that was stolen.
Catapultam habeo. Nisi pecuniam omnem mihi dabis, ad caput tuum saxum immane mittam!
Nice, they thank the Kansas City cop who I had to twist his arm to get involved only after showing him the pics on CC's site. I also remembered the guitar from the GMP site.
It is believed that C.C. has recovered at least some of his high end performance equipment with the discovery of the majority of his signature GMP guitars. "Finding the GMP's was a blessing with the tour and studio commitments coming up. Those are my tour guitars. They are representative of my sound, my style and my music. They are my stage blankets if you will." Deville remarked.
See? We're not the only ones who think GMPs are Rock as Fuck.
Yep, I hunted the bastard down
Not at all, I'm sure GC had about a hundred calls by the time I got the Local GC guy to figure out where the guitars for sale actually were located. I can't believe how disorganized GC is.....
If I understand it correctly they already had the guy pegged and werewaiting for him to come back.
The really f**ked up thing is GC had a 30 day police hold policy on all trade in/ pawned guitars so they can run the serial number to see if they are stolen. No one at GC seemd to know this was CC's guitar until the calls starting comming in.
Just to be clear, I'm NOT claiming any glory for this, I just was one of many who made phone calls. I was poking fun at the cop who didn't even want to talk about the issue and then gets a thanks you
