The made the right wing a lil longer so that it looks more like an ugly KV than a RR...which makes me wonder why Jackson would allow the DV8 through and not the Laiho RR rip off.

There's probably a significant design difference for the DV8, plus BC Rich has had a King-ish V for years, whereas this "thing" is just too close to a Rhoads.
Maybe Ibenhad jumped them and not Jackson? They had a RR with the littel sissy cutout first [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

For your info, the Alexi RR is a VERY nice guitar. The neck proflie is very different compared to the Jackson RR.

What's the neck profile like? I have a 1990 M-1 Custom neck-thru, and the profile is round compared to my flatter RR1's.

The neck proflie is very similiar to the early neck-thru Kirk model. C-lish-D profile (pretty much a D with some meat) and wide. VERY nice IMO.

They will still sell like hot cakes. It looks pretty ugly, though I am pretty sure it will play great. At least the ESP version.

i think ibanez is gonna sue 'em for stealing their Pro-Line 2660 design (rhoads that looked exactly the same)

I think the color scheme has a lot to do with it. If it had been the black stripes on white like his original ESP RV, it would look a lot better.

Kinda wierd. I mean that's a stretch from his USA Jacksons he used to play. I thought they said they were coming up with a totally new design for him? But thanks for posting that, it's pretty interesting [img]/images/graemlins/toast.gif[/img]
