i think it looks pretty cool myself...i used to own one of the ibanez v's...the cutaway looks kinda strange but really facilitates high fret access...and when the guitar is in playing position (horizontal vs. vertical) it dont look that bad...d.m.

I'm not the king of guitar aesthetics, but everything on that one seems a bit overdone to me. I love my old ESP The Mirage Custom, but then that's just a plain-old black Soloist. ESPs typically have rounder necks than Jacksons, though I have no idea what the Laiho model is like--I would think his would have been made to feel like his old Jackson Rhoads.

I'd generally say he needs to get his hearing checked, as well, but my feelings on Alexi are well-known. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

The guitar is, well, fugly. Of course, the LTD version's next, and that'll sell a lot...

His model is somewhat nice.. Just Im afraid the transfer from Japan to USA will make it suck.. most likely

i don't understand what you wanted to say.

i recall in one interview that he said he doesn't like them and gonna change. but eventually he didn't (don't know why), and you can clearly hear they are weak link in the chain

They are probably some other EMG's in his set up with HZ covers.
