ESP DV8 SE

Had this for a month or so now, just love that finish:


thick thick thick tac top [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

Together with the LTD version.
The top on the ESP and the lightning makes the LTD look poor, but its not. Playwise it doesn`t stand back for the ESP at all.

Looks great. I would be tempted to invest in an ESP DV8 if it wasn't for the mid-bevel and the belly-cut.

Yep, from Brian. According to him/ESP only 4 have been made, so that was pretty much the only option to get hold on one.

Chad: Honestly, I`d say the LTD plays as good as the ESP yes.
I`m sure there are people that don`t agree though.
They do sound a little different and if I had to choose I`d say the LTD sound a tiny bit better, but that`s just my taste I guess.
They`re both very articulate and extremly easily played.
I have this 40 year old vintage guitar loving buddy try them and he was truly blown away by the playability.
He`s mostly into Les Paul and Telecaster stuff, and loves the Gretsch Billy-Bo BTW, but was like "if you write some good metal songs I`ll buy a metal guitar like that".
Too bad I`m not cabable to write some good tunes then.. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
