The import Breedlove's are excellent. Definitely in your price range.

Under $500, if you don't need electronics or a cutaway, I'd recommend a Taylor Big Baby. It's ugly as hell, but it sure sounds nice. Just play it in the dark, or look away while you're playing, and you'll love it.

Otherwise Alvarez or Samick make nice ones in both of your ranges. Just make sure it has a solid top, and you should be okay.

That said, I'd save up just a bit more and get a Rainsong A-WS1000 graphite guitar, for $1199. Nice sound, great necks (flat, thin & wide). That'll be my next acoustic.

Do yourself a favor and play a Seagull. They have models in both price ranges you're talking about. The only difference is appointments/electronics/etc.

Handmade in Canada, and they sound amazing for the price.

A Big Baby Taylor for under $500 New or Used

http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/...se_pid/514968/

For under $1000 you should be able to get few different taylors but you will top out at a 310, unless you go with a used one.

hehehe..i'm blind..hahahah..
Anyways, are you planning to get one in US and shipped to europe? That would be pretty scary to get acoustic shipped overseas especially during hoilday period.

Re: suggest me an acoustic please

Seagull kicks the baby taylor's ass imho. I used to work at a taylor dealer too, and I love them. Another option is Simon and Patrick, Luthier - they are made by the same company as Seagulls (La Si Do) and either kick ass. One advantage to the S&P is that they use traditionally shaped headstocks, the seagulls are a little unique.

However, I have a nice USA Guild and my S&P 12 string plays nearly as easily and is built as well. I'd recommend the seagull or S&P for under $500 *or* $1000 and under.

As Keith mentioned, for under $500, you really can't go wrong with a Big Baby.

As for something under 1k, that would be a tough decision as it will really depends on what kind of stuff you play.

My two cents of crap..bwhahahah

Or Larrivee makes a really nice acoustic (LO3)for that price. I've been playing that at the store and it's really kickass compared to the other ones we have.

I'd suggest a Suzuki. I love mine and they're really good for the price.
