replacing strat neck

So, I have what I assume is a mid 90's mexican strat. Several mods have been done to it, including slappin some duncans in there, new bridge, and new flame pickguard. The neck is getting pretty beat up though, as I've put a whuppin on it for some time now. Anyone know if there are different necks besides Fender that will bolt on without having to mod the body or pocket? I dont mind Fender, but the things I've done to it so far, it really isnt a Fender other than the neck and body, and I guess I'd like to reflect that in it's appearance. Also, I may be missing out on a neck that will work which may have beautiful playability... moreso than the stock neck anyways.

I dig the guitar, but it would be sweet if there were a pointy headstock neck I could slap in there. Tryin to make cool cooler [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

warmoth, musikraft, mighty mite, all-parts all sell replacement parts. What I'd do is buy one off eBay, a lot of people part out fenders and you can get a nice deal on a USA Fender neck. I bought a couple myslf for strats..

+1 If you want an aftermarket neck to fit your guitar, Warmoth is the best in my opinion. I've got various necks from the above referenced suppliers and Warmoth has my vote especially if you want custom features.

Warmoth is hands down the king in after market necks and parts. the musikraft stuff is good for a charvel copy.
