7 string threads

Since the search function is goofy and does not get along with me (I can only perform one search every 10 minutes or so for some reason), I am wondering if someone can point me in the direction of some good, informative 7 string threads? I know there have to be some, and rather than start a new thread I was wondering if someone could point some out to me.

I am looking to buy a 7 string to replace a baritone around june, and I want to start saving and doing my research so I know I get what is best for me... (or at least I can dream about it)Right now, I am looking for something without a floyd, 26-27 inch scale, either two hums or a h/s configuration, something that has a comfortable neck profile without being too thin, and some around 600-800 dollars.

The first guitars that come to mind are Schecter. They are pretty much exactly what you described and they are great guitars for the money. There are a few people that own em here, I just forgot who

Sounds like you're describing a Schecter C-7 Blackjack. I just have one of those cheapo Washburn WG587's from music123, I think it plays pretty nice but it's 25.5 scale

These 3 kinda sound like they fit what your looking for. I personally like the Hellraiser (someone on these boards actually has one and posted a review and pics, I'll try and find the thread) I think a couple of our dealers carry Schecter too, so I'm sure they can hook ya up better than a SamAsh or GC can. Actually, Scott @ V Wall gave me a great price on one of their guitars, my brother just didn't follow through though
