Re: PRS bridge pick ups
All this talk about PRS pickups got me in the mood to try some out. I went over to one of the local PRS dealers and played a Standard 22 and a Custom 22. I thought that both bridge pickups sounded very dull and muddy. The term Tim used before, "uninspired" summed them up the best.
I also played a McCarty hollowbody, the one with the piezo. Those pickups were exceptionally clear and articulate. But, that guitar is a whole other beast all together.
