it was one that slipped past QC in a bad way ... i sent michael schenker pics via his web site .. he emailed me back his conversation with Dean about the QC etc....
they wanted the one i had and were gonna send me another one set up by Dean teks ...after a few conversations with the customer service guy and finding out that pix on the dean website and MF were~prototypes~ and not what they looked like in production (binding color etc..) wound up sending it back to MF for credit

Actually, the Epi is modeled more after Rudolf's model.

As for the Dean V, I'm so glad I got out from under the Schenker model. Spending $2500-$2800 for that piss poor quality just didn'r appeal to me.
