Cort and Samick basically make almost all of the Korean guitars in existence. At least a couple of years ago they did.

Pete beat me to it...all the same...My bud just bought a acoustic/electric for his wife to learn on...I set it up and it plays and sounds great.

can't vouch for their electrics, but a friend has a Cort acoustic. It's a decent sounding, nice playing solid top guitar. And pretty inexpensive too. Certainly a better guitar than my POS Yamaha acoustic.

although he is about to trade it in on a nice secondhand Maton.

Your AL3000 looks almost like mine, except I have the older headstock design and a more cherry color. It is a really nice guitar. I fully expected to change the pickups when I bought it, but I have been pleasantly surprised w/ the stock PUs. They give a very nice PAF tone, which is a nice change from most of my other guitars w/ higher output PUs. Just curious, what PUs did you stick in there?

duncan distortions. they really aren't as hot as i thought they'd be, which i am VERY happy about. most of my guitars have lower output pickups and that's what i like. it sounds like a les paul to me!!
