  • Peavey Tracers

Does anybody here have info about Peavey Tracers from the early 90s? Someone locally is selling one, and I can't remember if the '93-94 ones were any good.

There was a thread on these a while back. Good guitars for relatively little money, from what I remember....

      Re: Peavey Tracers

Here's the thread from last year: CLICK HERE!

There are lots of versions of tracers. Peavey's website shows 9 manuals: CLICK HERE!

      The 'floyd' models are:
Deluxe 89, rev headstock, 24.75" scale, maple fingerboard, 1 Hum, 1 single
Deluxe, normal headstock, 25.5" scale, maple fingerboard, 1 hum, 1 single
Custom 89, normal heastock, 24.75", rosewood, 1 hum, 2 singles
Custom, normal headstock, 25.5", rosewood, 1 hum, 2 singles

You can see pics and get specs by downloading the manuals.

The Deluxe '89 with short scale and reverse headstock is kinda like a maple board Vandy.

I've had 4 of 'em, I currently have two, love all 4 of 'em. American made and very affordable.
I still keep practicing though.... Mostly because I hate my neighbors.-MakeAJazzNoiseHere
