Ibanez w/Piezo and floyd!

I'm some sort of weird Ibanez magnet... picked this up today:



Has a floyd with piezos! Note the two output jacks... it's a prestige model, S2020X from 2000.

Wacktacular, eh?

The bridge is called the Double Edge. It's a LPE w/ custom LR Baggs piezo units isolated in each saddle.

The mini-toggle selects between magnetic and piezo.

The button switches between shared output (in) and split output (out).

The outer jack is for shared output with one cable, magnetics when using both outs. Inner jack is piezo-only with both outs.

Master Volume/Magnetic Volume

I have owned 3 double edge models in both the old style, and edge pro style. Cool stuff, sounds like anhy other piezo, BUT you have to be careful as their are lotsa fragile wires and have fun findinf a replacement saddle or getting service if anything goes wrong!!!

Pete we had one of those exactly the same as that one at work for the longest time. It was pretty cool.
