That is cool and I am digging that white gold v. That and the dixie rebel is not too bad either.

Man that V is sexy! It would be even cooler if the "Schenker" inlay on the neck was not so loud. Yes you are good at inlays but you don't have to go overboard.

Love Michael and Rudoplh is OK, but those Dean's and the headstock nerver clicked with me. Hideous.

On a side not, I was browsing through the Michael Schenker website and what a sad case. The shit he is going through, some of it self induced. He is exposing all that Jerry Sringer shit for the public to see.
Just so sad and what a waste of a huge talent. I always dug his early Scorps stuff and the UFO days are just classic. His early MSG groups were outstanding displays of melodic yet hard rock playing.
Now he is a shell of a man.

After reading all that crap at Michael's site, including the tension between him and Dean, I'm surprised ther e are new Schenker models. I figured Dean, like Gibson, would have told him to piss up a rope.

they're even ragging on it on the dean forum.

that guitar crosses the line between being a fan and being a fanatic. i would never play that thing in public. but i'd happily show up with my michael schenker v.

isn't the Gibson Voodoo V Rudolph's signature guitar?

No. The Rudolph Signature V was built between 1992-1994. Prior to that, in 1985, Gibson produced the Scorpions V which was used by Rudolph.

it would be 100x cooler if the inlays were simply 1 cm letters spelling out MICHAEL and RUDY, spaced on the dot frets all the way down the neck.

I like it the way it is, actually I'd hate it if they did it way you described skorb. Such an elaborate body graphic matches up with an elaborate inlay. If the body was simple flamed maple I'd agree with you.

yeah I just really can't stand any large flowery inlays on fretboards, especially ones that have no connection to where the dot frets are.
