  • U.S. Masters Guitar Works

Just wondering if anyone has ever tried any of their guitars?

Found the website and it is very interesting. Good reviews on harmony-central also. www.usmasters.com

Claim to sell factory direct and have great pricing. Use some exotic woods also.

Interesting neck joint on their bolt ons. Guitars look quite good. Built in WI - most of their parts are American made.

I use to own one, but only sold it becuase it had very small frets on it. Their craftsmanship is off the charts man!! They are worth every penny and then some. I don`t care for their newer headstock, I prefered the more strat one, but the quality is superb. Jack.

I have to call them yet but I like to get feedback here at the forum first because the guys usually know what they are talking about.

Seems with most manufacturers someone here knows something about their guitars.

Mine was a standard LeGrande Lacewood model with some options, but not full blown custom as I bought it 2nd hand.I am also curious as to a custom peice from them. Jack.

I've played quite a few of these. Excellent instruments. I especially liked the asymmetrical neck carve - very comfortable...

A close friend of mine has a Sportster and loves it- I haven't played it yet myself but the quality is obviously there. Seems like a very nice guitar.

nice guitars, but the resale value on these are horrible.

Yep high quality-low resale. Buy new to keep or try out a used one of you can find one. Jack.

                              FWIW:
Ya know whats funny? I tried one of those once in a store and I was not impressed at all. Maybe I played a dud. but I was not impressed. The neck felt strange, hard to play. The action was high, and believe me I do not like low action gutiars. I thought the looks were very mediocre. no style or zest to it. just so plain. So Thats interesting that they usually get such great reviews, but I sure didnt like what I played and saw.
anyway, that guitar hung in that store for a long time.
