      Well, the inline 6 has always been a tough engine. Jag has always had quality control and electrical issues. Once Ford took over and Lucas electronics were removed (otherwise known as "The Prince of Darkness") things certainly improved.

      There are plenty of X300 series Jags out there with over 150k miles on them, still running strong.
