    Re: New Kramer web site!

It´s really a step forward for Kramer to get some actual american production going. I wonder where the street price on these will end up?

      Re: New Kramer web site!

I had an 85 Baretta back in the day and it weighed a ton, but I loved it. One of those wished I had never gotten rid of it guitars. The price thing is a good question. If the price is right the 85 would make a great basis for a Lynch clone.

Looks like the same old same old Music Yo line but with the addition of the '85 Barreta and the cheapo Barreta.

Were the actual Barettas back in 1985 available with maple boards? If so, I think they should make that an option.

Yes, but they are very rare birds.

Sleep. The sound doesn't collapse to riffs of early eyes either.

They've been gone for awhile--though I guess the fancier "U.S. Collection" version was still available on the MusicYo site until fairly recently. You can still get the neckthru basses on the MusicYo site, however.

I like the 1985 thingy quite a bit, but I'd only be willing to pony up $$$ if they reissued the Nightswan.

They really need to bring back the nightswan, stagemaster, and the "good" voyager(non-pointy star).

Here's my 85' custom order. I haven't heard if the reissues are available with the maple boards.

The only way that plywood 600ST is cool is if you change the craptacular single-locking Floyd II for a real Floyd, change the pups and change the body to something other than plywood! Back to the topic...

I saw them at NAMM and I am really interested in the '85 Beretta. I may have to pick one up.

Curious, what makes that guitar a special order? My friend had a white '85 with maple off the shelf and I remember a few of the red/maple ones at the dealer back in the day.

I have been told that if you wanted the maple board it had to be special ordered. When I got mine in 85' I had the music store order one with the maple board and it took 4 months and it showed up with a custom order serial number. I wasn't really thinking at the time that it was going to be a special order. I thought they would just grab one off the rack.

Yes, Todd, thank you. That was also the first guitar my parents bought me, it actually sounded decent with a DiMarzio X2N and real Floyd. I'll never get rid of it, but the woodscrew Floyd posts have tilted a great deal and it's just collecting dust down in the basement, the Floyd and X2N now taken out of it, and won't ever be played again. If I had known it was plywood in '87 when I was 14, I would have picked out something else.

I also had an St600 and it had a decent neck on it but the plywood body, electronics, and single locking trem sucked balls.

As for the Baretta 85 reissue, it looks pretty sweet. MusicYo wil also reissue the Nightswan.
