Best Ibanez 7 string for @$500 ?

I've got real bad GAS lately for an Ibanez 7 string. Played one in a local shop and loved it, but can't remeber the model number. My buddy has an RG550 that I really like too, but that's a 6...

Anybody here familiar with Ibanez 7 strings? I'm looking for something with a locking tremolo around the $500 mark new or used. Any suggestions?

For Ibanez.. look at the RG7620. I think a JCF bro is selling a quilt top model. You need to check the classifieds QUICK!!

If it's gone, a used RG7620 is your best bet.

Definitely get a used RG7620. Better pickups and trem than the current RG1527 version, although not better by a whole lot. But the 7620 is a great deal at about $350-400.

Another vote for the RG7620. I used to own one in Vampire Kiss red. Cool guitar, but I wasn't all that crazy about the tone of its basswood body.

I used to have an RG7620 and now own a 7621 and they are both awesome guitars regardless of the price.

Got an RG7620 in Vampire Kiss. Very decent guitar for the $ you can obtain it for, and used certainly a better deal than any of the current 7s in their product line.
