Going for an intimidating appeal? I'm not sure that was actually it. Ever notice how several Jackson headstocks of various shapes fit into the Warrior body style?

Purple is majestic, it is royal. In the middle ages Kings were also warriors.

Purple was extracted from the purplesnail and it was many many many times more expensive than gold, diamonds or whatever. Roman emperors and elite wore purple clothes to show their immense wealth.
