What the hell is this?

I saw something like this at the music store today. It actually played and sounded great to me, but it looked ridiculous at first. Now it's starting to grow on me, and with the way it looks in a black finish, I'm starting to want it...

Just what the hell is it? I picked it up, played it and forgot the name of the company that makes it! What a moron. And interesting me more, is what kind of pickups are those? They have gold pole pieces, that's about all I could tell you.

The guitar itself has a set neck. The headstock also looked very strange, not like pictured.

-The bridge pickup is too close to the neck.

It doesn't seem that those pickups were in the one I played. Anybody might know what it is that I'm thinking of? All that I can remember is that they had gold pole pieces. The sounded really good.

No dude, I love the warrior! I'm just saying it seems like the designer was going for an intimidating appeal. Why in God's name would you paint it purple? It's like breeding a monster and deciding to go with barbie-pink (or, well, purple). You just don't do that. Purple is not evil or intimidating!
