Only a Gibson is Good Enough. Congrats - I've always been fearful of the minis - let us know how they sound. Then again, I've always stayed away from the weak 7.5K t-tops, but now that I have an LP Custom with them, they work extremely well-for certain things (70's rock with a Marshall, GnR, The Darkness).
They don't do metal that good, but then again, my metal axes (or even my modern LP's) suck at doing 70's rock.
