Yes, they sell those starter pack guitars at Costco. But check out some of the guitars coming out of their custom shop. They are pretty damn cool if you ask me.

I called and the custom shop is in Boston.

i thought they looked a little hokey at first, but there's a pretty sparkling review of one of their custom shop models in the new guitar world.

They seem to be using quality materials, but those shapes ARE pretty hokey...cheesy...lame...etc!

I have heard nothing but excellent reviews about their CS stuff, from guys who actually have high end stuff, but it is hard not to get past the fact that they sell stuff in Toys R Us

Yeah, I want the CS version of a Wal-Mart guitar! It's tough enough explaining why a basswood-body Charvette is nicer than the plywood ones! Who needs the headache of explaining that your Wal-mart logoed axe is really very good?

They got a write up in Spin or something. I bet wait time has just increased.

Their CS is a couple doors down from my office. I havent gone in yet but some of their customs are displayed in the window. Very pricey, like $3K and up. Not my cup of tea, looks wise. They are like warped versions of guitars we all know.

Last week they had INXS there for promotion. Interesting lookng crowd to say the least.

The review they do on the demo disk that came with GW was pretty cool. They showed some construction overview and assmebly. Nothing ground breaking but they look to be quality guitars.
