By the way, no there is no neck angle on it from what I see. The TOM is recessed. I've thought about doing that myself, but I actually like a bit of neck angle.

That is seriously one bad ass guitar. Let us know how it plays and what the neck shape is comparable to?

nope, no neck angle, i've got a 2003 kxk v in red with ghost flames and an OFR, and it has no angle.

Re: Custom 7-string V by KXK Guitars

Let's see if I can get everyone in one post:

toejam: I think the little compartment is for access to the wiring for the input jack. He route an extremely small/tight electronics cavity, so he probably needed access to route the cabling. Not quite sure, I'll know soon enough.

StukaJU87: His standard V headstock is done in the Gibson style, with 4+3 for sevens. I don't care for that design, and requested a 7-string version of the ProtoV headstock he already makes.

Venomboy: The way he builds the guitars is with no neck angle, sink the hardware if it needs one. I know this bugs a lot of people, but since I started on a Strat, it is just fine by me. Neck angle has always gotten on my nerves a bit. I can only assume he recesses his Kahlers.

Thanks for all the comments, guys, I can't wait until it shows up!
