My friend has a 3000. Cosmetically it is nicer for sure. However, I could not really hear any difference between his 3000 and my 2000 when they were both stock. Of course, mine has had the pots and pickups upgraded and now you can definitely hear a difference.

Sleep. The sound doesn't collapse to riffs of early eyes either.
Ok here is the new deal From Rondo Music, This is what I'm getting from them after I return the 1 they sent me.
this is a AL-3000M it has natural binding ebony fret board abalone inlays, the alincoV pickups, & the neck natural ebony binding aswell. This is their Honey sunburst finish.
Wish me luck
That's a looker. I hope it all works out well for you.
I wish I could buy them without pickups and pots...cause I always change that stuff anyway!!
Mine sounds really, really great with the combo of a Gibson 490R neck P/U, a Hybrid SD (Custom and '59, VH style) in the bridge and new set of vintage pots from RS Guitar works. I put in the Gibby P/U and the pots last night, and I am really thrilled with the results.
The original Agile P/Us are currently getting slammed into a Squier Strat I have...should be cool when done.

Well I just put it down after 3 hours of playing, I had to stop my finger is bleeding. I'm very happy with it. i wish this would have been my first guitar that I learned on , & it's got alot of extra to it. It's got alot of those little cosmetic things i like Natural binding Abalone inlays the logo & symbol are actual MOP not plastic it's got a crean pearloid pick guard with matching truss cover in pearloid. little stuff like that , that makes just wanna look at the dam thing as well as play it.I'm actually considering not swaping the pick ups also. I have Emgs in everything & thought of getting a 25th anniv. set for it but I'm getting tons of tone out out it as is. Maybe some Gibson pups later on. I've never owne a Mahogony guitar before & this is low end compaired to Gibson, I see what the big deal is about Mahogony now. Full tone!
as a side note, Chuk, no friggin wonder the paint was going to cost that much [just had a look at your avatar ]
442w30 there is no headstock binding it's supose to have natural Binding but since some of the work is comming out of Japan on these things now there has been a little bit of changes here & there. I'm not upset about the headstock binding the guitar smokes & looks sweet.
& Dave yeah thats the pic I want to put on the Pearl White Warrior Pro.
I thought you'd like the AL-3000.
I was also pleasently suprised by the stock PUs. Before receiving it I had fully intended on upgrading them, but I decided to keep them after I heard how they sounded. They have a nice PAF vibe to them.
