i love the looks of Marty Friedman's Jackson LP. and the Eclipse is my favorite of all the current LP shapes out there.. I like it even better than a LP

Sorry, I guess I should have identified them. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

The first is a Xaviere XV500. It is actually an inexpensive Korean made guitar ($349), but is extremely well made, and plays awesome. It's actually one of my best sounding guitars.

The second one is a Yamaha Weddington Classic. The top is very thick maple (about 3/4"). It's not birdseye, but a really unusual quilt. The strange thing about this one, is that the guy had it in the storeroom for years, and he said it was the first Weddington they received, and that the rep told him it was a prototype. I'm not sure if that's true or not, but the maple top is not bookmatched, and it has some Dimarzio pickups that are not supposed to exist according to Dimarzio. I gave them the number off the back of the pickup, and they said they are not a production model pickup.
