I have emailed Musikraft various times without getting a response. Do these people ever answer their emails or is phone communication the only way to get in touch with them?

Maybe it's because you are in Puerto Rico.
I am not trying to be a jerk, but they may have a feeling you are a scammer since it isn't one of the recognized states.
