What is the general feeling of these guitars? Specifically in regards to the M-I -> M-III series. Constructed well? How do they compare with the Horizon series?

The M-3 was my first real guitar. They are fantastic. That goes for pretty much all of the m- one to m-3 series. -

Agreed, the M series was and still is a great guitar! I personally like them better than the Horizon series.Comment

I have the Mirage Custom, which was sort the precursor to the M series (I think). Problem with making generalizations about the M series is that ESP has given so many truly different guitars that label. I've seen M1's that are nothing more than hot-rodded strats, and I've seen others that are single-hum imitations of a Jackson Soloist. I love the late '80s neckthru M guitars, though. Good value for the dollar now as used guitars, too.Comment
