I've got GAS for an 80's gunslinger with a maple neck and one humbucker and GAS for 'metalled up' Fender strats

I wish i bought the pink and black crackled gunslinger i played on years ago. Very gay colour, but that thing was nice to play and hear.

Do HM Strats count? One could make the case that they were heavily modded by the factory with the different scale length (25") and a DiMarzio Super 3 in the bridge and of course, a Kahler 2700 trem.

By the way, there was one model in the HM series that came with a single humbucker. I'd love to find one of those with a maple fingerboard.

HM strats do yeah. I wish i had the money to get one. There's actually a single hum HM strat with a rosewood board on Ebay UK. I'll just find the link.

If you want a nice-playing Fender, I recommend the HM's. I've got a black, 3-pu model with a rosewood board and I really like it. The fingerboard, in addition to having 24 frets, also is noticably wider than a typical Strat neck. But it was aimed at the shredder market, so the neck dimensions make sense.

I wish you had the bucks (well, "pounds") to get the HM on eBay.

I love and dearly miss my checkerboard Gunslinger. Man that thing was the SHIT. I've sold two are three guitars or traded them away and that was one that I regret, that and the Ibanez JPM 1 I NEVER should have let either of those go.
ST-1's are awesome too. Jackson had a hand in designing those. Or was it Charvel? Anyways an awesome strat like guitar as well.

Those are some sweet Gunslingers but doesn't anyone have a lightning graphic? That's the one I always think of when I think Gunslinger.
