String thru. They just don't look right with a Floyd. Plus, I never use a trem anyway.

The obvious question is whether you use a whammy bar or not. Personally, I think that a lot of the tonal niceties you'd get out of that guitar would be lost if you got a Floyd.

String thru. Better tone, better looks.

I have a CT6 string thru and love it. I like Floyds too but, it kinda seems like putting a Floyd on a LP, just doesn't seem right.

Another option: Wilkinson.
FYI, I didn't think the stock C22 bridge pickup had enough 'oommph', so I went into the Carvin store and asked about options. They said M22SD and handed me a C4T string thru that had that in the bridge. I plugged into the same Carvin tube amp I have at home and within 3 power chords, knew that was the answer. I bought one and installed in mine and noticed no difference in sound vs the string thru at the store.

If you use a Floyd then get one. Make sure you get the M22s/d humbucker in the bridge. Its Carvin's hottest pickup. I also like the C22 or the H22 in the neck.

I love Floyds but, IMHO, that guitar screams for a TOM bridge. If you use Floyds a lot and don't have many guitars, though, the Floyd might be the better choice for yourself.

All depends on your trem use. I'd get a Floyd.

Do you have any other Floyd guitars? I have many Floyd guitars and would love to have a Carvin CT and I would get it with the Tunamatic and Jumbo Stainless Steel Frets. Jack.

Good choice!! If you like 6100 frets, the stainless steel ones are worth the upcharge.Even the medium/jumbo are offered in stainless steel. Jack.
