So basically what you guys are getting at is don't get anything that can possibly affect the tone from All-Parts. Straplocks are fine though.

I remember, we have a used Firebird at work with the banjo-style tuners and someone broke one of them, and a couple of them had gears worn out, etc. We ordered a set of Allparts ones to put on there, and when I got it strung up, the Allparts tuners were just as bad as the worn out Gibson ones!

I bought a Gotoh FR from them for my LTD don't say anything....

I have ahd no problems with it, it's gotoh, And it's moving, i'd equally consider Gotohs to be as good as OFR's and slightly better in some respects, then again you must like brass....
