Here's my Dime 2ST after a 2 month long restoration. I got the guitar on Ebay and it was beat! Chips, dings broken/missing pickup rings, rusty metal-you name it. The case was even falling apart.
Budman came to my rescue and created the cavity covers in brushed aluminum which complement the guitar perfectly. AND we didn't even have a trem cover to use as a template! However, he was able to match it up perfectly. Thanks Dude!
Here is the guitar with 2 pre-resto pics and several as it is now. I wish I would have taken more before pics but I was too shocked when I took it out of the case.
Here's a list of what went into the job...
Fret polish and fretboard reconditioning
Filled/painted extra screwholes(strap pins?) and myriad dings and chips
Replaced strap pins, toggle switch (was gold- ) installed new Lawrence 500XL, 2 new pickup rings, new locknut tabs, clean and repair case.
Enjoy!
