my cousin is thinking about buying a used Aria Pro II Bass (4 String, Neck-thru, 24 frets, gold hardware, killswitch, 1 humbucker pickup, I don't know if its rosewood or ebony, looks more like rosewood though, whitish color, brass nut and brass bridge) on the headstock it says "Specially Designed and approved by ARIA Research. Developement LAB. Original Custom Body. anyone know any info on this bass? how much he should offer for it?

I've had similar Aria Pro II basses.... fretboards almost always are Rosewood. They're pretty good Japanese made basses - without some pics it's hard to put a value on it. All mine were bought and sold within the 200-500 dollar range. -

Yeah, very hard to say without pics. Just so you know, some of the higher end models approach the $1,000 mark.Comment

Sounds like one of the Super Basses, like Cliff Burton used to play. If it is, they are fucking awesome and should be purchased immediately.Comment
