I don't hear any digs at Jackson in that video at all. He didn't mention the company he endorsed. He only said "nothing happened with it". To me he sounds like he was just being honest. I don't like the guitar myself but it doesn't sound too bad

You guys must be watching a different video, to get he's pissed at jackson and bashing them from nothing happened with that company, is pretty good reading between the lines you guys....

I must be really dumb to not see that complete bashing of jackson....

Also how can you tell he recorded the system has failed on an ESP?

granted the gutiars will sound different but the better production on it compared to some of the 80's md stuff is going to make it quite difficult to have a fair comparison....

I like the DV8's apart from the cutout on the V just looks fugly other than that its ok....

I think the DV8's may actually be outselling some of the metallica sigs....

I still dont understand how dave is whining and what not just by saying i submitted this design to a guitar company 15 years ago nothing happened took it to ESP they said it's doable....

Not hacking on you dude, but that's the funniest thing I've read on these forums in months. If you look up "grudge" in Webster II, there is a picture of Dave standing on his lower lip. He didn't get "his way" with Metallica, he can't get along with bandmates, he doesn't like red guitars, and that snarl is actually him pouting over the lack of success of the last three albums. Someone get him a tissue.

P.S. Whoever "axed" the plans for the AXXIOM at Jackson should be given a raise and a company car.

I remember Dhayve posting at Megadump.com that he was Jacksons number one endorser and for that reason, he should have been offered the company. I'd be willing to venture that Jackson/Charvel's success stemmed more from Strat bodied guitars than Mr. Mundane and his V's.

I agree Risk and Cryptic Writings were pretty bad, but The World Needs a Hero is alright and The System has Failed was really good IMO.
