and for the guy who used mustaine crying on the Metallica film, you conveniently forget that it wasnt Dave or Megadeth that needed psychotherapy and counselling and decided to cash in on that by making a film out of it that showed them for the truely tragic shadows of their former selves that they've become. The only member of Metallica i really have any respect for after watching Some Kind Of Monster is Kirk. Dave may have issues but if your best friends woke you up at 6am on the other side of the country and told you to piss off with no reason what so ever I'm sure you'd have issues about it to....you'd have to be emotionally dead not to...

I don't mind the shape. The recording does sound like crap though. I personally wouldn't buy one, but hey, it's neat.

I think people are getting an 'issue' mixed up with a 'grudge' here also. a Grudge implies revenge, a willingness to do harm in response to harm done to you, i dont think Dave holds a grudge and wants any of Metallica to suffer. I think the guy just has a deep seated emotional 'issue' from when he was like 19?? (which is still a pretty tough time as your still growing up into an adult) of why 3 people who he considered his closest friends just dumped him on a bus with no explanation, no 'talk', no reason, no 'dude, clean yourself up coz if you dont we dont think we can keep you in this band anymore', just 'heres your bus ticket, get going and dont come back'.. when your 19 and their your closest friends man thats gotta fucking hurt.. I think he's looking for the answer to that, and he didnt get it, mainly coz James wasnt there and i think his 'issue' revolves more around James than it did with Lars.

Metallica got drunk and became silly and stupid, Dave was a violent drunk who started fights and needed to go... end of story. Sure, James wound up in rehab 20 years later, Dave wished he could have got that chance, but nobody really thought of that 20 years ago. Dave needs to get over it already and realize he was successful on his own terms, even if he wasn't as successful as Metallica became. No one could have predicted they would have become that huge, but Dave needs to quit being a baby about it.

P.S. I've always preferred Dave and Megadeth over Metallica anyway.

His comment on the "other guitar company" sounds more like just stating the facts, not really a dig.

That is sad looking. There is a certain instinct for what is cool and what isn't that most people have, Dave clearly does not. Yuck. Looks like a mockingbird/warrior cross or something.

But he does have a guitar that he designed out on the market, which is more than most can say.

You Dave bashers are wrong. I agree, this guitar is fugly, but it sounds fine. Also, it seems sort of silly to kick someone out of a metal band for being angry and drinking, then stab him in the back and use all the songs he wrote, including the fucking solos. Kirk Hammet is good, but not nearly as good as everyone gives him credit for. He is not a "Guitar God". Dave Mustaine fucking rules, he writes the coolest, riffs, awesome solos and great lyrics. MegaDeth is way better then Metallica. The System Has Failed is a great CD too.

You guys would be bitter too if you had gone through the shit he has.
