Venomboy, nice!I curious what it weighs in at.If you get a chance let me know.My Warlock is a mahohany tank, with out a wide strap it starts to dig in.Only thing heavier I think is my '77 LP Custom which I think comes in at just over or under 12 lbs.

                Re: BC Rich USA Warlocks

Have you changed the tuners and quad? Those parts aren't stock. The quad should be brass like this:

And it should have Grover imperials like this (and not super rotomatics):

Also the fact that it has stringers (insanely rare for a vintage Bich), leads me to believe it is a much newer guitar.

                Here's my '81 Bich...

If you're good, you can spot that one knob is non-original, the neck pickup is damaged and the chicken-head varitone is broken. The guitar is currently being refurbed at Neal Mosers'.

hellraiser, those warlocks are sweet especially the black one, factory floyds on old BCRichs are like hens teeth. Sanc. the tuners with the circle backs are the old super rotomatics, w/imperial buttons. they stopped using those around 85ish. this is my 82 warlock 2, one of the few without actives.

Sanctuary, Nothing has been changed by me & I've had this since '87 or so...I bought this one used but in like mint shape which is the way it still is.

Beats me but I seem to remember both chrome quads and Super Rotomatics on earlier BC's.

J2379 That is a Killer Warlock....a lot like the prototype that Bernie was pictured with in those early ads. Dan Lawrence owns that guitar (the proto) btw.

I do realise that. It's an '82 Bich though, so...strange.

Chrome quads got slapped on the import (NJ) guitars for that period. As Hookie stated above, the super rotomatics came a bit later...

Hey...no offense taken at all. From what I've heard though the BC shop was always pretty chaotic and slightly disorganized. If they ran out of stuff they used what they had...

Then again I guess it's possible some parts were switched out before I got it.
