i owned a few of the 29 fret versions of these...to compensate for smaller frets i literally grew my nails out just a little...and would use the nails of my fingers to play in that area up there...just dont expect musch sustain...not a lot of room for the string to vibrate....cool for effects but i eventually went to a 7 string and then finally back to a soloist...d.m.
