      That's a tres cool piece from Ibanez/USA. With that assortment of woods, it almost looks like an Alembic that went shred! Very nice guitar and congrats on scoring it.
      Takeoffs are optional but landings are mandatory.

            Actually, these were part of the USA made Master Series from 1991. You can see this line of guitars at www.ibanezrules.com, resources, catalog library, 1991. Go take a look at those.

                        I am not an Ibanez fan at all. But... I have heard the USA ones are in fact good guitars and that one looks really nice.

                        What kinds of woods do you know?

                          Lookin' like Maple top and mahoghany rear. Excellent quality, solid as a rock. Fat neck, yet surprisingly easy to play. One key word .... Sustainnnnnnnnnnnnn ......... *

                              That goes without saying !!! The Japanese Ibanez's kick ass !!! I love my Proline 1770's and the Skolnick 540P-SH is unique too !!!!
