Try a Gibson Firebird (if you haven't already)
They honk for this kind of stuff. There's a lot of garage rock stuff in your list there. Bright and cutting, but they warm up like an LP easily too.Comment

I stick with the Fender Mustang.
I put a red lace sensor in my 69 reissue...
Was a totally rockin guitar...it would go metal.. but.. that kinda setup is not optimal for metal.
Its a student scale guitar.. I beleive its shorter than gibson short scale.

Mustangs are cool,I have a '65 or 66.Great guitar.
Another place to check is Eastwood.I haven't played anything yet but I like the idea of what they repro.I just hope the quality follows through.
